As 65+ Elderly Rights Association, we attach great importance to the careful protection of personal data within the framework of legal principles.

Our Association processes the personal data of its members, donors, supporters, and individuals who interact with the Association in various ways solely for specified purposes and does not share such data with third parties.

Personal data processing activities are carried out in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.

In this context, our Association acts in compliance with the following principles:

Principle of Processing for Legitimate and Lawful Purposes

The Association processes personal data only for specific and legitimate purposes. These purposes include carrying out the Association’s activities, collecting donations, informing supporters, maintaining regular communication with members, supporters, and volunteers, keeping records of participants in meetings and similar events, and following up on information requests and similar applications addressed to the Association.

Principle of Obtaining Explicit Consent

The Association obtains explicit consent regarding the processing of personal data and processes such data in accordance with the scope of that consent.

Principle of Accuracy and Up-to-Date Data

The Association takes the necessary measures to ensure that the personal data it processes is accurate and up to date.

Principle of Data Security

The Association implements the necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of personal data. In this regard, it protects personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or deletion, and minimizes the risks of data loss and leakage.

Principle of Transparency

The Association provides clear and understandable information regarding how personal data is processed, with whom it may be shared, and the duration for which it is retained.
