Statement on the Rights of the Donors

65+ Elderly Rights Association believes that donation is a voluntary behavior, and that giving and sharing increase our quality of life.

We value the rights of the donors because we consider essential that NGOs and their projects gain the trust and respect of the public and that donors feel safe and smart when making donations.

Our donors have the right:

1. To be informed about the mission and vision of our Association , how the donation will be used, and its capacity and intention to use the donation efficiently in line with its objectives,
2. To obtain information about the board of directors and managers and expecting managers to perform their duties prudently and cautiously,
3. To access to up-to-date financial information,
4. To request a guarantee that the donation will be used for its intended purpose,
5. To a proper thank you,
6. To request confidentiality of donations within the legal limitations
7. To demand that all relations established with him/her by persons representing the Association are at a professional level,
8. To know whether the person requesting the donation is a volunteer, an employee, or someone hired from outside,
9. To request that their personal data to be protected,
10. To receive immediate, accurate and clear answers to their questions related to the donation.
