Member of our Association, Architect Dr. Esra Akan gave a speech titled “Spatial Arrangements to Reduce the Risk of Home Accidents in the Elderly” at Kadıköy Municipality Community Center on March 7, 2019.
In her presentation, Architect Dr. Esra Akan gave information about practical arrangements and measures to reduce the risk of home accidents that the elderly may encounter in their home environments and informed the participants about major accidents that can be prevented with small changes that can be made.
Architect Dr. Esra Akan focused on domestic changes that will make the daily lives of the elderly easier and answered questions from the participants at the end of her presentation.
